One of its customers from the oil and gas industry had to resolve maintenance backlogs. The client wanted to utilize the equipments, which were onboard the Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO), in efficient manner. Team ABS completely reviewed the client’s existing maintenance program and created comprehensive Asset Criticality Ranking (ACR). The company also cleaned up the data in the customer’s Computerized Maintenance Management system. ABS coupled Risk Based Inspection (RBI) approach with preventive maintenance program to formulate a mechanical integrity plan. Eventually, the customer was able to bring down the order backlog by 40 percent. As a part of ongoing analysis, ABS provides reliability analytics and conducts structured root cause failure analysis in case of a critical event.
